Liberty's Dawn, the first installment of the Liberty Trilogy, occurs in the years 1780-1781 during the revolutionary conflict in North America's southern colonies. Three friends in 2010 embark on a winter camping trip in a mountainous region of South Carolina to escape the stark realities and absurdities of modern society.
Having planned a weekend of camp fires, good eating, and relaxation at an outdoor backcountry retreat, the men became caught in a temporal chess game. Abruptly thrust back in time by unseen forces, they witness the fall of Charleston to British forces loyal to King George in late spring of the year 1780, and discover their nations history... in REAL time! How did the friends appear in 1780? Why are they back in Americas past? What should they do now? Nik, Sid, and John must wrestle with these questions and ultimately find their way as history unfolds before them.
American history is Nik's passion and seeing the Revolutionary war is like watching a living history of the events he has studied most of his life. John, an avid outdoorsman and Sid, a computer professional with a previous history with elements in the US military soon discover an evil from America's past is in the wrong place and at the wrong time. Defending Liberty: Book Two of the Liberty Trilogy
ISBN: 978-1491707302 (Paprback), ISBN: 978-1491707326 (Hardcover)
Reeling from the trials and tribulations of surviving a time shift and an enemy temporal attack during America's Revolutionary War; Nik, Sid, and John contemplate their lives moving forward in America's past. They had long ceased thinking of 'home' as the place in the year 2010 where they prospered with their wives, loved their children, and enjoyed the modern amenities that life in the twenty-first century afforded them.
Trapped in the past, our friends now struggle to endure in parts and times unknown, hoping for peace and quiet to contemplate their future. A second temporal event drives them to engage people of their history for answers and direction. When they learn that they have shifted to another of America's domestic conflicts, the men soon discover a sinister and dangerous contamination that again threatens America's survival. Invading temporal forces present a complex puzzle for the three friends to discover, decipher, and solve as America's time runs out.
Desperation and unusual circumstances force Nik, Sid, and John to use extreme measures, and some modern-day tactics, to defend their nation's freedom and history. Will the temporal contamination and evil disrupt America's historical timelines as it fights to maintain its borders, its liberty, and its very sovereignty?

Hermit on the Hill: A Companion Novel
ISBN: 978-1508958499 (Paprback)
This installment of the “Liberty Series” of novels explores some thoughts of our nation’s conscience through the eyes of one of the main characters from the first two installments of the Liberty Trilogy (“Liberty’s Dawn” and “Defending Liberty”). The issues discussed in the series transcend time and are as relevant today as they were in our nations past. This tale brings its readers another fantastic and entertaining fictional adventure in time, whilst drizzling in crucial and important events of our actual history as it pertains to its timeline, past and present.
‘The Hermit on the Hill’ can stand on its own as a grand chronicle of one man’s struggle with himself and his surroundings, a struggle with the demons of the human psyche and man’s physical space here on Earth. This installment of the series has a very different feel to its mood from its predecessors and I encourage you, if you have not already done so, read “Liberty’s Dawn” and “Defending Liberty” before you read Hermit on the Hill. The time you will spend with ‘our boys’ in America’s war years of 1780-81 and 1813-15 will give you a unique and special understanding on this chronicle.
As in those first two books of the Liberty Trilogy, this companion novel to the trilogy’s third installment titled ‘Liberty’s Revival’, continues to investigate the history of our nation and our world by delving into the parallels and differences of our modern society pitted against those of our past. “The Hermit on the Hill” also serves as a ‘teaser’ for the trilogy’s third novel, which will bring you, the reader, to America’s Civil War years, 1861-1865
